   Notes: The ISI Web of Science (http://isi10.newisiknowledge.com/portal.cgi) was used to search the key words "plant volatiles", "nectar", "fragrance", or "floral scent" for papers published in seven peer-reviewed journals during the decade from 1993–2003. Journals were chosen arbitrarily for their history of publishing papers on plant or floral odors. The following table summarizes results of the search. Numbers indicate the sum of papers per journal that were identified using a given key word. Several papers were cross-referenced between two or more of the key words.
