The 16 models used to estimate occupancy () and colonization () rates for the long-toed salamander (Ambystoma macrodactylum) and Columbia spotted frog (Rana luteiventris) before (1999–2001) and after (2002–2004) the 2001 Moose Fire. Models were fitted after finding the best description of detection probability () for each species and are ranked according to AIC weights (w). The Fire column indicates the sign of the fire effect covariate, when estimated. The asterisks indicate the two A. macrodactylum models with indefinite solutions to the variance-covariance matrix; parameter estimates from these models were not used.
