Data were taken and modified from Arditi and Akçakaya (1990) to estimate mutual interference, m, and its variance, var(m).
Variances of mutual interference parameters were calculated as the square of the standard errors reported in Table 2 of Arditi and Akçakaya (1990).
Mutual interference estimates and their variances were based on Method II model fits reported by Arditi and Akçakaya (1990).

"Study no." refers to the original codes of Arditi and Akçacaya.   The accompanying HTML file gives each citation.
"Predpara" indicates whether the predator was a predator or parasitoid.
"fishinv" indicates whether the predator was a fish, insect or other type of invertebrate.
"m" is the mutual interference parameter.
"var(m)" is the variance of the estimate of m from each study (the within-study variance).
"1/var" is the recriprocal of the variance
