The WinBUGS model for meta-analysis of multiple movement pathways (used in Example 2 in the paper)  is provided in WinBugs_meta_code.txt 

This code should be copied and pasted into a new WinBUGS document. Details on the WinBUGS program are provided in its associated help manual. WinBUGS can be downloaded freely from the following web-site: http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/bugs/

Please, note that analyses presented in the paper were performed using WinBUGS 1.3, since that time, WinBUGS 1.4 has become available. The code will work in this newer version.

The WinBUGS code contains data and initial values required (at end of WinBUGS_meta_code.txt), please, ensure that these are copied into the WinBUGS documents along with the code. Other simulated datasets can be analysed with this model by generating new data using the S-Plus code supplied in Supplement-1.

Explainations of variables/nodes used in the model are embedded as comments throughout the code and in the paper.
