§ Substrate units : Q = Quaternary, O = Oligocene, M = Miocene, E = Eocene, T = Tertiary, K = Cretaceous, P = Paleocene, Y = middle Proterozoic, p = Precambrian.
Virtually all transects have Quaternary glacial/alluvial deposits in valleys, and low elevation plots are occasionally situated on these.
